| New Lift Truck (Forklift) Training regs. Fed
& Cal OSHA |
Fed OSHA requires specific training
for forklift operators. Periodic retraining and
refresher required by qualified trainers. Qualified
trainers can be employees who provide specific
training. Training will be required in the event
of an incident or observed unsafe operation. Equivalent
Cal. OSHA regs. in effect now, looking for full
compliance by 6/2000. |

| New CAL OSHA 300 & 301 injury reporting
requirements |
Ok, now it's official. The 300
log is here. Not a big deal just a new way of
reporting injuries. Check out the publications
page on the Cal OSHA web-site and download the
3 pdf and one excel files under recordkeeping.
